Asthma kitty getting an oxygen treatment. She has learned that the green tube air makes her feel better, so now she lets me put it right up to her nose instead of having to close her in the oxygen box. This way she gets more O2 much faster than she would in the box.
Edit: A note to all those still reblogging this: Jasmine, AKA asthma kitty, passed away on July 22, 2014. Despite heroic efforts for treatment, her heart/lung disease progressed to a point where she was basically unable to survive without being stuck in her oxygen chamber most of the day. She let me know that it was time to go, and so I made the decision to end her suffering at that point. Thank you all for your interest and support, and I hope you all continue to enjoy my good kitty’s legacy for a long while to come.
Now I’m crying again.
